"Always out of the parts I actually need"
I went to grab the parts I needed and of course they were out of stock again, which is getting frustrating because it feels like every time I’m ready to fix something or finish a project, the one specific thing I came for is the thing they don’t have.

"Hard to use and honestly a bit annoying"
I was trying to order a few parts from Jameco Electronics, and harder than it needed to be, the whole thing felt. The search results were kind of all over the place, the filters didn’t really narrow things down much, and a few pages loaded slow for me.
Comparing product info was also not very smooth, so I kept opening extra tabs and clicking back and forth like I was doing some puzzle. The parts themselves might be totally fine, but the website needs some work. I ended up giving up before I finished the order.

"Shipping was faster than I thought it’d be"
I ordered a few parts from Jameco the shipping came quicker than I expected. I might’ve just overestimated how long it would take, but my stuff showed up a couple days earlier than I had in mind. The box was in good shape too, so no complaints there. The only thing was the tracking didn’t update as fast as I would’ve liked, though maybe I was checking it too much. Overall, good experience.

I tried returning a few parts that didn’t really match the listing, and the whole process turned into a hassle. Support took a couple days to get back to me, then told me I’d have to pay return shipping and wait for approval. When the refund finally came through, it was less than I expected. Maybe it was just this one order, but if that’s how returns usually go, I wouldn’t bother with them again for small purchases.

"Parts were decent, but of course one had to be a letdown"
I ordered a few small electronic parts from Jameco, and most of them worked fine. But somehow I ended up with a switch that felt cheap and loose, which was frustrating but not really surprising with my luck. For the price, it wasn’t terrible, but I do wish the quality was more consistent so I didn’t have to deal with the one weak part in the order.

"Honestly, the prices feel way too high"
I don’t know, I just felt kind of annoyed shopping here. The prices ended up being higher than I expected, and for what you’re actually getting, it really doesn’t feel worth it. I’ve seen better deals on other sites, so it’s hard not to feel like I overpaid.

They did help me in the end. So, that part was good. But the replies took a while. Like, I’d send something and then just wait. Not terrible, just a bit slow.

I used jameco.com to look for some connectors and small parts, the search worked better than I expected. The filters did help narrow things down quickly, which was nice, because apparently comparing tiny parts online is still supposed to be a little adventure. A few items weren’t super easy to compare side by side, but it still saved me time overall. I’d use it again, hopefully with slightly less guessing next time

"Shipping ended up costing way more than expected"
The parts themselves were cheap, which is why I ordered in the first place, but the shipping cost was ridiculous. It felt like they made it seem like I was getting a good deal, then the final cost told a different story. Frustrating when what’s promised upfront doesn’t really match what you end up paying

"In-stock claim felt like a loophole"
The site said the item was in stock, so I went ahead and ordered it. Then I got an email saying it was actually backordered. Frustrating, honestly. It feels like one of those policy loopholes where they can still take the order even if they don’t really have the item ready to ship.

"Started off annoyed, but the parts were a mess"
When the box showed up, I was irritated because it was completely crushed and you could hear everything rattling around inside. I tried to stay hopeful for a second, but nope — the parts were loose and some were already messed up. Really disappointing packaging...
